Another beautiful wedding, Jennifer and Jason are one of those couples that make me truly love what I do, they are two individuals that treat each other and everyone around them with genuine kindness. I am thankful everyday that I can do what I love and have people love my work but to be able to meet people like Jennifer and Jason give me that much more to be thankful for.
Enough about that, let’s talk about the wedding. Jennifer and Jason along with several members of their family, traveled from Seattle to Lithia Florida to say their vows in front of everyone that they loved. They were married in a beautiful chapel in Lithia Florida.the ceremony symbolized the the uniting of this couple but it also symbolized the uniting of two families .
There was an aire of small town southern appeal present, from the chapel to the beautiful wooden alter built by the brides father and friends to the reception held at a great open air ranch. Along with the small town appeal was beautiful elegance and style, from the jewelry Jason presented to her as a wedding day gift to the the elegant dress with a unique scalloped edge back that jennifer pulled off perfectly. This really was the coming together of two families and they incorporated this throughout the wedding, whether it was intentional or just happened that way it was a beautiful portrait of two becoming one. On June 19th I was honored to photograph Kailin and Dan’s wedding. I first met Kailin and Dan in the winter when I photographed their consult and engagement session. We had a fantastic time during the engagement session and I knew then that they were a unique and fun couple. The wedding was incredible with the ceremony being held in a historic chapel that had such a warm, vintage feeling. we captured some great photographs both inside and outside the chapel. Kailin chose an amazing blue color that really made our picture pop with great color. The reception was held at the Dunedin golf and country club, it was really hot that day but Kailin and Dan were troopers which allowed us to capture some amazing photographs on the beautiful landscape that the golf course presented. I really enjoyed myself and had a great day, I think you will enjoy the photos as much as I do and to see more from this event visit my website at http://www.LisaHuntPhotography.com

Last weekend I was honored to photograph the wedding of Justin and Venus at Hollis Garden on Mirror Lake. This is a beautiful location so many beautiful colors and exceptional background. The scenery coupled with Venus and her natural beauty made it nearly impossible to take a bad picture. Venus had amazing blue eyes and wore a beautiful mermaid style dress with delicate buttons all the way down the back. The dress was strapless and she pulled it off beautifully, the groom was very attentive to his new bride and was most certainly her handsome prince.
It was a hot afternoon but Venus never once complained and by looking at the photos the heat did not impact her a bit. I really had a nice time and the wedding party was very intimate and close. I also loved that there are several shots where both of them are all smiles and not just for the camera. These were two really great people who were delighted to be marrying their soul mate. They were both beautiful inside and out and I thank them for including me in their big day. I also wanted to thank Justin for his work in our US military, we greatly appreciate the sacrifices that you both and all other military families make so their loved ones can protect our country. I know you have both found your happily ever after. Congrats

This past weekend had the honor of photographing the most amazing wedding, Lacy and Eric are two people that are so in love you could literally see it through all the chaos of the day. Too often the day becomes about the event but not with these two they were totally focused on one another. Both Lacy and Eric are so sweet and Lacy has a style all her own. They were married in an old courthouse that has been converted for events…this was so fitting since they are both attorneys. The tables were covered in Black Table cloths with beautiful centerpieces made of Peacock feathers. The attire had a 20’s feel to it with adorable black dresses for the bridesmaid with small peacock feather headpieces and half face netting. Lacy wore the most amazing dress and was stunning, she wore small white feathers in her hair and a white half face net. Lastly instead of flowers for the bridal party and decorations they used feathers. I may not be painting a clear enough picture so make sure you check out the pics it really was amazing and unique. While most people know that my main focus is Weddings, couples, engagements but on occasion a bride becomes pregnant or a friend has a baby. I am always more then willing to do studio portraits and just love when I get the opportunity to shoot a baby. While wedding season is in full swing seems like baby season is also. I recently shot my friends grandbaby…he is really cute…I know that weddings are very unpredictable and you have to be prepared and able to handle anything that comes your way…there are no do overs at a wedding…but I have to say that babies are pretty unpredictable…it took 4 adults to coordinate pulling that binky out of his mouth so we could get the shot before he started screaming. for more from this session click the picture below to visit the gallery
